John Wilson: Managing Director

John graduated with an honours degree in Civil and Structural Engineering whilst being employed by one of the UK's largest Engineering Consultants.  His role transitioned to contracting whilst managing an extensive decommissioning project within the petrochemical sector for a bluechip client.  Since then, John has worked in various management roles across the demolition industry within the UK, Europe, North America and Canada.

John established DDE Solutions in 2009 with a vision to provide high quality, straightforward advice to both client and contractor initially through the provision of estimating services. With over 20 years' experience built on a civil and structural engineering background, DDE Solutions specialises in project work within the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, heavy industrial, oil & gas, nuclear, power and high-rise sectors.

Malcolm Perrin: Engineering Manager

Having started his career in the corporate domain designing broadcasting studios at the BBC in London, Malcolm moved on to heavier Civil and Structural projects in the Energy sector with some of the UK’s leading Engineering Consultants.

With considerable engineering experience on Petro-Chemical and Nuclear sites and leadership in waste management and tankfarm remediation, Malcolm continues to demonstrate practical solutions to complex problems.

With strengths in customer liaison, project coordination and client focus, and a diligent approach to Health, Safety and Environmental issues, Malcolm is a strong advocate of changing poor HSE behaviour through ‘leading by example’ to achieve positive cultural change.

In his current role as Engineering Manager at DDE Solutions, Malcolm liaises with Stakeholders to determine project scope, specifications and procedures. Adaptable and resourceful, Malcolm helps manage and deliver the full lifecycle of company projects, ensuring commercial success within budget and on schedule.
